Little Ealing Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated class teacher to take on Upper KS2 leadership role to join our friendly school. You should have high expectations of learning and behaviour, as well as being a committed, enthusiastic and motivated teacher. As a year group leader, you will play a pivotal role in the educational experience of our young learners.
Main duties will include:
- Take specific responsibility and accountability for the day to day management and organisation of your TLR responsibility area
- Be an excellent classroom practioner
- Have an impact on educational progress beyond your assigned pupils
- Line manage and appraise identified staff
- Assist in the smooth running of the school at all times, including being responsible with the other TLR holders for the school in the absence of the headteacher, deputy and assistant headteacher
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school with particular reference to the year group team
- To take an active and positive role in the development of curriculum attainment and progress within the school as a member of the leadership team.

- Have experience of working with primary school children
- Maintain a calm and organised learning environment
- Be committed to promoting the inclusion of all children
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.
