Job description

REED Education are delighted to announce that we are managing the Ealing supply pool which commenced in September 2021, this is for the provision of Supply Teaching Assistants/Teacher Assistants and Learning Support Assistants in educational establishments across the London Borough of Ealing. This service will support Early Years provisions, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools within the Borough.

We are currently recruiting Support staff to work in the classroom and for one to one position’s to join the supply pool, from newly qualified Cache Level 3’s to highly experienced individuals, graduates and early years professionals. This will be to meet the needs of covering day-to-day staff absences, One to One positions with children on Educational Health Care Plans and long-term maternity/sickness roles from January 2022 till the end of the academic year.

How to become a support staff:

You do not need any prior degree, though having experience working within schools/nursery settings and with students who have SEND Needs such as Autism, PMLD or Behaviour would be beneficial. Alternatively, you may have transferable skills from different sectors, such a Youth or Care work that would benefit this role.
