Salary: Point 18, £24,649.48 top of the scale Point 20, £25,538.58
Term time only, 35 hours per week plus 2 inset days
8.00 am to 3.45 pm with 45 minutes for lunch
An exciting opportunity exists for a technician to join our large and thriving Science Department in a state-of-the-art school. You will prepare materials for Key Stage 3, 4 and Post 16/A Level Science classes. Duties will also include maintenance of laboratories, small repairs, stock taking, administration, word processing, using spreadsheets and leading the science technical team. Training in Health & Safety regulations will be provided if needed. We hope to appoint an energetic and dedicated person who can show initiative and who has a flexible and committed approach. Good qualifications are essential. Candidates are required to complete an application form and submit 1 side of A4 outlining their education background, leadership qualities and interest in Science.
