Job description

Required September 2025.

Contract type: Permanent.

Hours: 15 per week Mon-Fri, 8:45am -11:45pm (actual timings may vary dependent on the day).

Term time only plus 5 training days.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant, to apply their expertise in supporting a pupil/s with special educational needs to achieve their potential.

This is an exciting role for a TA who relishes a challenge, wants to change lives and can convincingly demonstrate that they have:

*A passion to support children to believe they can aspire to achieve their very best

*The ability to work effectively with children, confidently adapting the curriculum to meet their needs

*Experience of building positive relationships and working with children in a school setting

*Excellent behaviour management skills whilst remaining patient and positive

*Achieved a Level 2 TA qualification

*Achieved GCSE Grade C English and Maths or equivalent

*A good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.

Your role would include:

This dynamic role predominantly involves supporting a pupil in Year 3  It therefore, requires experience and knowledge of working in school environment with key stage 2 experience supporting pupils with special educational needs, to make excellent progress,

Your role would be to personalise learning to support social, emotional and academic progress, in a way which motivates and enthuses. Communication skills and flexibility are key. Your team would include class teacher, parents and external specialists, all working towards aspirational outcomes for this pupil(s).
