Grade 2:     SCP  3   –   4
7.5 hours per week Monday to Friday  [39 wks Term time only]

The Lady Margaret and Durdan’s Park Schools’ Federation requires an enthusiastic and reliable School Meals Supervisory Assistant [SMSA] working under the direction of a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant [HLTA] to work with other lunch supervisors ensuring the smooth running of the lunchtime break and supervision of the children.

Previous experience in an SMSA role in a school is preferable but not essential.


You must be able to:

  • *Work as part of a team and be an effective communicator
  • *Supervise the children during the lunchtime period
  • *Take part in promoting and developing co-operative games in the playground
  • *Follow school policy and procedures and show initiative
  • *Be firm, but friendly
  • *Be prepared to attend training courses, including first aid.
