Permanent contract. 35 hours per week – term time only plus five INSET days and 5 admin days (Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm).
John Perryn is a happy, supportive, multi-cultural, two-form entry primary school. We are based in a state of the art building in East Acton, within the London Borough of Ealing. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, solution-focused, flexible, committed person, who will support the good work of staff, to join our happy team.
The successful candidate will need:
- Experience of receptionist/ secretarial/ clerical /administrative work
- Good level of literacy and numeracy skills including excellent oral and written communication skills
- Appropriate knowledge of first aid and a willingness to train
- Ability to use relevant technology e.g. photocopier
- Appropriate level of keyboard/computer & computer software skills e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher etc
- Ability to participate in development and training opportunities
- Ability to relate well to children and adults
- Ability to work constructively as a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and the post holder’s position within these
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly and to be solution focused
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
