Job description

Hours: 08:30 – 16:00. 35 hours per week x 40 weeks per year (Term time, inset days and one week during the school holidays).

Start date: January 2025

EAP are looking for an experienced school administrator with excellent communication skills and attention to detail, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring organisational objectives are met and will provide exemplary customer service to external visitors and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be proficient in Microsoft software, the use of MIS systems, and skilled in Microsoft excel.

Duties and Responsibilities

 To be an integral part of the front office, assisting with answering overflow telephone calls, providing exemplary customer service to external visitors and stakeholders, monitoring visitors to ensure safeguarding of EAP

  • Use of SIMS and other software systems to look up pupil data, generate reports & address labels
  • Setting up and maintaining systems for school procedures
  • Accurate data entry into school software and spreadsheets
  • Responsibility for the school uniform stock and payments and petty cash
  • Assisting with booking of school trips, sending out consent forms, travel and arranging lunches with the school kitchen
  • Provide administrative and organisational support to other staff and SLT
  • Attending regular meetings and completing tasks to set deadlines
  • Fielding emails to correct staff from admin inbox
  • Using school software to send/receive messages to parents as and when needed
  • Making calls home as directed to deliver messages to parents.
