As a member of the premises team, you will play an integral role in ensuring Alec Reed Academy is a safe, inviting and positive learning environment for students, staff and visitors. This role will involve carrying out minor repairs, compliance testing, inventory control, maintaining the grounds, and checking that areas comply with health & safety requirements.
It is essential that applicants have experience of maintaining a large building or site, carrying out varied minor repairs in the workplace, have a good customer manner and have a good level of Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Knowledge or relevant qualification in engineering or similar technical experience, along with experience with young people is also essential.
The role is working full time from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday all year round i.e. not term-time. You will be given a 27 day holiday allowance which would normally be taken during the school holidays. The salary range is between £23,000 to £27,000 per annum and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
The Academy is in outer London but with Inner London pay and offers free on-site parking, free use of the gym, subsidised meals, family friendly policies including dependents entitlement and an employer’s pension contribution of over 17%.
