Part-time Nursery Support Assistant / Nursery Officer

Level 2 or 3 will be considered for this post

16 hours per week, Year Round

Level 2, grade 3 £28,803 to £29,211 0r Level 3, Grade 6 £34,577 to £35,589 pro rata pa inclusive

The Hours will be 08:00-11:00 (3 days per week) 08:00-11:30 (2 days per week)

The governors of South Acton Nursery School and Children’s Centre (SACC) wish to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Support Assistant or Nursery Officer to work in our 6 month-2 year provision.

Our ‘Outstanding’ Nursery School and Under two year provision offers high quality education and care to children aged from 6 months to 5 years. The Centre operates from 8am to 6pm (Monday – Friday) and throughout the year. We have fixed closures over the Christmas period, 1 week over the Easter period and the last 2 weeks in August.

Working closely with our friendly and professional team, you will undertake a range of duties to ensure the health, safety, welfare, physical and emotional wellbeing of the children at the Centre. You will be able to relate to and interact with a range of people from diverse communities, have a friendly, courteous and helpful approach with children and their families, staff and all visitors to the school and have experience of working with young children up to 5 years old.
