As and when required (timings would be from 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday-Friday, Up to 30 hours a week term time only)
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to help support pupils in the classroom. Experience of working with children who have additional needs would be an advantage.
An NVQ Level 2/ 3 in classroom support or equivalent is essential.
Applicants should possess:
- *a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills
- *clear and legible handwriting
- *a good command of spoken English
- *recent experience of working in a primary school
- *knowledge and understanding about the teaching of phonics and reading
- *high expectations of pupil work and behaviour
