St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our high-achieving two-form entry school for Autumn 2025.
This is a job share role, requiring flexibility and coordination between two team members to share the responsibilities.
The HLTA will play a key role delivering high quality teaching and learning across KS2. Experience of working with children with SEND would be beneficial.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
*Excellent communication, English and Maths skills;
*Ability to contribute to planning, preparation and delivery of agreed work and support programmes to individuals, groups or classes;
*Experience in leading whole class learning, covering PPA and staff absence;
*Ability to insist on high standards of behaviour and academic outcome, enabling all pupils to flourish;
*Ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning;
*Enthusiasm for collaborative working and an ability to contribute to planning and to provision for pupils with SEND;
