Job description

Required Autumn term – September 2025

Permanent Contact to work across the Primary school

32.5 Hours Per Week (8.15 am – 3.45pm) – Term time only (39 weeks)

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our skilful team in the Autumn term 2025.

We are looking for an individual who:

*has experience of leading whole class teaching;

*has experience of supporting young people;

*is proactive, positive, calm and flexible;

*has high expectations of yourself and the children you work with;

*proven skills in behaviour management;

*has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills;

*is committed to working as part of a team;

*is resilient;

*shares our vision and aims for all of our pupils;

*is dedicated and committed to the success of the school;

*Have Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status or equivalent qualification or experience.

*Excellent numeracy and literacy skills or qualifications equivalent to NVQ level 2 in English and maths.
