This is an exciting role for a HLTA who relishes a challenge, wants to change lives and can convincingly demonstrate that they have:

* A passion to support children to believe they can aspire to achieve their very best
*The ability work effectively with children, confidently adapting the curriculum to meet their needs
* Experience of working with children in a school setting
*Excellent behaviour management skills whilst remaining patient and positive
*Experience of covering classes or teaching groups of pupils
*Achieved a Level 4 HLTA qualification or the ability to achieve this within two years
*Achieved GCSE Grade C English and Maths or equivalent

Does that sound like you? You might be just the person we are looking for!
Your role would include:

*A commitment to high educational standards and expectations of pupils, especially the most disadvantaged

You will work alongside the assistant head teacher(s) and class teachers within key stage 2 to personalise learning to support social, emotional and academic progress, in a way which motivates and enthuses. Communication skills and flexibility are key.

We are looking to appoint someone with the ability and willingness to work as part of a team and offer flexibility in supporting individual children, or small groups within a classroom setting. The role may also require you to provide cover for class teachers, this could be during their PPA time or in the event of absences, however this would be infrequent as we already have cover supervisors directly employed in school.
