What do we do?
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Family Liaison and Annual Review Coordinator to join our team at St Ann’s School. In this role, you will engage with families, assess their needs, and develop action plans to improve outcomes for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible support for children in our care while contributing to monitoring and evaluating the success of the programs you help implement.

Main purposes of the job:
- To coordinate and manage Annual Reviews, provide administrative and liaison support to families, and contribute to the Family Workers team by supporting events, assisting parents, and promoting effective communication between the school and families;
- Send out invitations for Annual Reviews, remind parents/carers to attend, and reschedule cancelled meetings as necessary;
- Ensure contributions from relevant professionals (e.g., social workers, educational psychologists, therapists, and SEN departments) are included in Annual Review reports;
- Attend and minute Annual Review meetings, prioritising accurate and detailed documentation;
- Type, collate, and distribute Annual Review reports to all stakeholders in a timely manner;
- Forward all relevant paperwork to appropriate bodies, including Local Authorities and other statutory organisations.
Family Support and Team Collaboration:
- Work as part of the Family Workers team to plan and support events, assist parents, and ensure their needs are met effectively;
- Coordinate with the Family Workers team to promote a cohesive approach to family engagement and support.
Policy and Document Management:
- Design, create, and maintain various school documents, information leaflets, and communication packs;
- Manage and develop school policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with statutory requirements.
