2 vacancies:

Vacancy 1 Early Year’s Deputy Manager:
To start September 2022.
Hours: 8:15 to 3:30 Monday to Friday (Term time only).
(We would consider part-time job share)
Salary on application and will reflect experience and qualifications.

Job description – Early Year’s Deputy Manager:

The suitable candidate must have the following:

  • *An NVQ level 3 or higher qualification in childcare
  • *At least 3-4 years’ experience of working with 2–5-year-old children An NVQ level 3 or higher qualification in childcare
  • *Good understanding of the current Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • *Experience of delivering a high-quality learning environment through good interaction and planned activities based on observations
  • *Experience of setting up a wide range of activities for all areas of learning, using observations from these activities to assess children’s progress, and plan further activities to support the learning and developmental needs of individual children
  • *Good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection, Health and Safety, Food Safety, Confidentiality, and Whistle Blowing.
  • *Experience of completing risk assessments, and reporting accidents/incidents.

 

Vacancy 2 A part-time term-time only Early Year’s Practitioner:
To start September 2022
Hours: to be confirmed, however we would need:
16-20 hours Monday to Friday (Term time only).

Job description – Early Year’s Practitioner:
The suitable candidate must have the following:

  • *An NVQ level 3
    *At least one years’ experience of working with 2 – 5 year old children
    *Good understanding of the current Early Years Foundation Stage framework
    *Experience of delivering a high-quality learning environment through good interaction and planned activities based on observations
    *Experience of setting up a wide range of activities for all areas of learning, using observations from these activities to assess children’s progress, and plan further activities to support the learning and developmental needs of individual children
    *Good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection, Health and Safety, Food Safety, Confidentiality, and Whistle Blowing
