Job description

Governors wish to appoint a dynamic and inspiring Deputy Headteacher who will join a dedicated and passionate team in helping to raise standards and the profile of the school.  The successful candidate will have exceptional classroom practice and also be a driven and an aspirational leader with the vision and abilities to collaborate with stakeholders.

About you

Governors are looking for:

  • A practising Catholic with a clear vision and strong commitment to Catholic education who can demonstrate their Catholicity through their relationships and actions.
  • Somebody to take a strategic lead role in curriculum development and assessment.
  • An applicant who is passionate about children’s learning and has a proven track record of raising attainment and developing the whole child.
  • Someone with the ability to inspire, motivate and lead staff and children to achieve the highest standards.
  • A candidate who can lead and develop improvement across the curriculum.
  • An excellent communicator with good management skills who can develop and work with existing staff.
  • Someone who has a proven track record of supporting a staff team through a change process.
  • A hard working, well organised and highly motivated individual.
