We are proud to be part of an innovative school improvement partnership with Sycol. Through this, all members of staff in the school are part of a high quality leadership development programme. We run termly innovation improvement projects to ensure that systematic school improvement is embedded in everything we do. These projects involve every member of staff which helps us quickly and effectively share ideas whilst forging strong partnerships across the staff team. 

We are a small school at the moment, however we are growing in size as we are expanding our school roll. We also have a new DfE funded building project on the horizon to help us with this. We are engaged in a number of projects to ensure that we work closely with our staff, parents and local community and we see ourselves as a community focused organisation.

If you are successful in your application to this position, you will join a small Premises Team comprising of two Assistant Caretakers and one Facilities Manager. We have a larger cleaning team who are managed by a Cleaning Manager and also have one day time cleaner. We hire out our school and sports facilities in the evenings and at weekends. Northolt Leisure Centre currently manages our sports facilities out of hours lettings on our behalf, however our caretaking team support the other lettings in the school.

We are looking for excellent practitioners who will:

  • Play a full part in the Sycol termly innovation projects to contribute to the development of school- wide continuous improvement;
  • Support us in our wish to provide high quality premises which support student learning;
  • Contribute to the Premises Team work to ensure that the school provides a safe and welcoming environment;
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.

Our recruitment process

One of the Ealing Learning Partnership projects we have been engaged with in the last two years is a ‘No Learner Left Behind’ project to improve the outcomes of our Black Caribbean students. Informed by our work on this project, we conduct an annual analysis of the ethnicity profile of our student body. Our long term aim is to ensure that the profile of our staff group matches that of our students. At the moment, we are underrepresented in the following ethnicity groups: Arab, Asian, Black Caribbean, Black African and Traveller of Irish Heritage.
