ACADEMIC MENTOR

CL 1.1 from £20,475 per annum (negotiable)

We seek to appoint an Academic Mentor to tutor small groups of students to ensure the continuous improvement in the quality of teaching and learning along with the occasional support of teaching larger groups. You should be able to enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge students to raise achievement at all levels up to KS5. The vacancy provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high quality and well-resourced environment and to join a team of experienced, successful and highly motivated staff.

About you

You should hold general knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum at Secondary level with experience of teaching and/or tutoring small groups or individual Secondary Phase students. We would also accept applications from experience Teaching Assistant’s looking for their next step.

This is an important role to commence as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis until July 2022 in the first instance with the potential to extend.
