Are you practical, resourceful and caring?

Do you have the flexibility to make a regular commitment to help a family with a disabled child?

If you have a minimum of 16 hours or more a month to spare and are available to work on Saturdays – days and/or evenings, between 9am and up to 11pm.

Ealing Family Link Service are looking for a number of Sitters and would be interested in hearing from you!

  • More hours may be available at the times of work below:
  • Sundays (between 9am – 11pm)
  • Weekdays after school from 3.30pm onwards
  • Weekdays during the day.

Only applicants available at stated times will be considered for the post.

Our sitters / befrienders work on a casual ‘as and when’ basis in the child’s own home or in the community, for periods between two and five hours at a time, providing for all the child’s care needs, whilst their parent or carer has a break.

You will have experience of looking after children (essential) but no formal qualifications are needed.

We will provide training, on-going support and supervision.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
