As the 3rd most populous borough in London and the 3rd most diverse borough in the country, working at Ealing Council presents a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute towards improving local public services and making the borough an even better place for everyone. Our Council Plan 2022-26 sets out our ambitions and priorities particularly in relation to tackling inequalities, creating good jobs and addressing climate change.

Ealing Council is on a journey of transformation, putting residents at the heart of what it does and making sure that our plans are insight driven. The post will be central to providing a joined-up analytical service to social care, corporate performance other Council departments and statutory organisations. If you are looking to join a team of data and insight experts working to develop innovative and efficient business intelligence solutions, this is the time to join Ealing Council.

In the post of Senior Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for developing outstanding performance reports and analysis that will contribute to shaping decisions and solutions to the challenges in adult social care. This will support our CQC assessment, statutory returns and our continuous improvement. As an experienced and proactive analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting us to achieve our vision.

We are looking for someone to work closely with Senior Leaders and the Adult Social Care Team, who will understand their data needs to deliver consistent reports and insights. Your responsibilities will include collaboration with ICT, operational teams and partner agencies and boards. You will be familiar with benchmarking analysis and with giving presentations to audiences of all levels including auditors and inspectors.

We are interested in hearing from applicants with an expert background in producing accurate and timely Adult Social Care statutory returns and surveys (SALT, CLD, SACE, etc.); who have experience in compiling cyclical reports such as bed and home- based reports and who are accustomed to delivering FOIs on time. You will be an expert in using Power BI, Business Objects and MS applications. Familiarity with MOSAIC is desirable.

An eye for detail is essential as you collect, check and produce complex data for Adult Services. Your ability to develop and communicate constructive insights with confidence to senior management is crucial in supporting Adult Services to achieve great outcomes in meeting the needs of our community.
