Job description

6 month contract, Starting March 2024

2 x 14 hours per week positions

Position 1 : 10 –3 Thu, 10 – 4 Fri, 10 – 4 Sat (hours include 1hr Lunch break each day)

Position 2:   10 – 4 Sun,  10 – 4 Mon, 10 – 3 Tue (hours include 1hr Lunch break each day)

Hanwell Zoo is a small vibrant zoo in Ealing, West London. We are looking to recruit a new member to our highly successful team.

The main aspect of this role is working in the visitor entrance and gift shop.  Great customer care attitude is essential. An ability to deal with customer queries and a willingness to engage with visitors is vital for this role.

The zoo plays a key role in the local community and houses a number of exotic mammal and bird species.

The development of the animal collection and the education provision we provide has been key to the success of the zoo.
