About the post and you

This is a newly created post within a new cross-cutting Economy & Sustainability Directorate under fresh and ambitious leadership. You would have an excellent opportunity to expand and consolidate your career by operating across an extensive peer group and diverse range of services within a newly created Regeneration, Economy & Skills department. This post in particular offers you the opportunity to build and coordinate a programme of community-led regeneration, to support growth of the local economy, deliver jobs and drive ambitious change for Ealing’s seven unique towns to deliver on the Council’s priorities. You will develop, commission, manage, deliver and evaluate multiple projects within  jobs-led regeneration and economic development programmes in one or more of Ealing’s seven towns The role will deliver business growth and inward investment programmes that have enabled innovation, diversification and growth of a local economy and to help unlock 20,000 new homes, 4,000 genuinely affordable homes and 10,000 new well-waged jobs. Your work will involve bringing forward strategic sites with partner organisations, high-value and complex master-planning, catalysing meanwhile uses, identifying and intensifying employment opportunities through high street programming and diversification of the borough’s commercial and industrial offer.

Your work with council teams, community partners and strategic organisations will be key to developing and progressing innovative and forward-thinking projects within Ealing. As such, you will be proactive and adept at collaborative working and take an inclusive approach to engaging partners, businesses, stakeholders and Ealing’s diverse local community.
