Job description

Ealing Council’s council plan sets out an ambitious vision for the borough while managing the challenges faced. It demonstrates how the council will work with residents, partner organisations, businesses, the voluntary sector, and staff to make Ealing an even better place to live, work and visit.

Ealing Council is on an ambitious journey of transformation, putting residents at the heart of what it does.  As part of ensuring the best possible outcomes for the borough’s residents, the council has created a new Strategy, Performance and Intelligence service at the centre of the council to provide a joined-up first-class service to other council departments and key external partners.  If you are looking to join a team of experts, to develop and shape the new service and be part of a council that is developing innovative solutions, it is a fantastic time to join Ealing Council.

As well as our social care provision, we have a network of 27 modern children’s centres, a high performing youth offending service, youth and connexions service and an innovative early intervention/early help SAFE service available from three multi-agency teams across the borough. We work closely with our NHS Trust partner to delivery a range of Early Start programmes to improve the outcomes of our young residents.

You will support the Performance Information manager and be responsible for collecting, collating, maintaining, analysing, and reporting on data sets relating to service delivery and performance and the monitoring of outcomes in relation to either Youth Justice Services, children’s services performance and HMI Inspections

You will need excellent IT skills including MS Excel and PowerBI (or similar).  In addition, you will have excellent analytical skills, a strong eye for detail and be able to produce complex statistical analysis and translate the findings accurately.

This role is subject to Ealing’s enhanced vetting process.
