Do you have a passion for nurturing talent and fostering individual, team and organisational growth and development?
Are you an influential leader that thrives in diverse environments. Do you enjoy building strong teams, developing effective organisation development (OD) solutions, and driving lasting impact?
If the answer to these questions is yes, here is an opportunity to join a forward thinking and ambitious organisation.
At Ealing Council, we believe in developing a workplace where everyone feels included and empowered to thrive. Our aspiration is to unlock the potential of our workforce and communities through transformative organisational development strategies, underpinned by good practice in equality and diversity and collaborative working.
We are looking for an experienced People and Organisational Development (POD) Manager to join our team. You will be MCIPD qualified or equivalent.
Key responsibilities include managing a small team of internal and external trainers and consultants to enable the design and delivery of our corporate learning programme to our workforce.
This includes reviewing and developing a comprehensive learning and development (L&D) offer for the council on areas like induction, appraisal, leadership, change management, digital skills and wider personal and professional development.
The role is directly responsible for creating effective L&D policies, strategies and impactful OD interventions that align with our council vision for connected communities (‘To increase social connection in the borough, giving everyone as much choice and power in their lives as possible’) and corporate priorities. This role is designed to build capability and service improvements at all levels within the council.
Wider responsibilities also include the management and procurement of the council’s learning management system and training supplier contracts and involvement in implementing cross council projects as allocated.
You must have the right to work in the UK. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
It is an exciting time to join us, here at Ealing Council. If you would like to make a positive difference to our residents and borough, then we’re looking forward to hearing from you.
