Ealing’s Asset Management Strategy includes a commitment to consider sustainability and energy efficiency across the varied delivery programmes, and to ‘operationalise’ the principles of the Council’s Climate and Ecological Emergency Strategy.
Ealing Council is seeking an experienced Net Zero Carbon Housing Project Manager to join the Housing Asset Management Team, to be responsible for developing a five-year decarbonisation action plan that meets the council’s climate commitments to make Ealing carbon neutral by 2030.
This is very much a hands-on evolving role, bringing together the teams that will design our approach, forge new partnerships and plans, win funding, and deliver programmes for carbon retrofit and other sustainability and energy efficiencies across our Housing stock.
Your experience should encompass carbon, sustainability, and construction/asset management preferably in the Housing sector, including retrofit qualification or knowledge of related technologies
Degree or relevant experience essential in the Construction, Environmental and Sustainability Industry.
This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
This role is subject to Ealing Council’s enhanced vetting process.
