The Leaving Care Team are looking to recruit a full time, motivated, skilled, flexible, creative and innovative Leaving Care Worker to join our team.
In the Leaving Care Team an opportunity has arisen for a Leaving Care Worker to work with young people age 16 to 25 years old. As part of children’s services all care leavers are offered the opportunity to gain skills needed to enable effective transition into adulthood.
Leaving Care Workers will engage with young people within semi-independence provisions, residential provisions, young people placed at home and work closely with Horizons education centre, LAC teachers, LAC nurses and LAC psychologists to ensure that young people are provided with positive outcomes.
If you wish to join a committed, focused and diverse team and have knowledge and understanding of the emotional wellbeing of care leavers as well as the skill to work with young people developing independent skills, this role will be ideal for you.
