Job description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced practitioner to join our integrated Early Start Ealing Health Visiting Team. This is an opportunity for you to gain some experience in the field of working in a wider integrated service.

As well as working alongside health practitioners, the wider multi-disciplinary Early Start Ealing Service of social workers, early years providers, children’s centres and more.

The team supports early identification and appropriate interventions for children and families in Ealing.

We are looking for an individual who has experience of having worked with children 0-5 years and their families with a range of needs.  You must have a sound knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of child development and be skilled in forming positive working relationships with families. An existing knowledge and experience of family support or parenting interventions is desired.

You must have excellent communication skills to enable effective teamwork with the multi-disciplinary team and other professionals.

You need to have experience of early years childcare and have a minimum.

NVQ level 3 in Childcare, NNEB or equivalent qualification.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role.  This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
