Your Responsibilities

In this pivotal position, you’ll lead a talented team overseeing complex development schemes and delivering quality planning decisions. Reporting to the Head of Development Management & Enforcement, you’ll be based at Perceval House, Ealing, and earn a competitive salary of £67,290.00 – £70,710.00 (Grade 17). This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to shape the future of Ealing, ensuring high service standards, meeting performance targets, and driving innovation through digital and AI technologies.

We are seeking candidates with:

Extensive understanding and proficiency in legislation and policies related to town and country planning. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a background in overseeing large teams and intricate projects. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, particularly when dealing with developers, strategic authorities, and key stakeholders. Advanced analytical, research, and numerical abilities. Membership or eligibility for membership in the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Significant experience in senior-level team management within Development Management, notably in the public sector.
