Ealing Learning Partnership (ELP) is looking for an experienced administration professional to support the work at our Ealing Education Centre (EEC) in Greenford, in promoting educational excellence and wellbeing for all learners and in maintaining excellent services to our Ealing schools.
The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting training delivery at the EEC in Greenford, as well as providing administration and business support for additional workstreams across the ELP organisation.
We are looking for someone keen and enthusiastic to work at the EEC, who is able to provide business, administrative and customer services support to ELP to ensure successful delivery of the partnership’s functions, and specifically training courses related to our CPD SLA.
The post holder must be additionally able to support the EEC and training manager in the supervision and oversight of the EEC reception/admin officer at the EEC and be a self-starter and very comfortable supporting senior members of staff, trainers and course attendees with a number of key organisational priorities.
You must be comfortable working with online tools and internal websites to support the management of information and bookings for training programmes and facilities, business and finance processing. You will be dealing with staff at all levels, supporting school leaders, staff, trainers, governors and colleagues both inside and outside of ELP.
You will support the senior business and communications manager with all developmental points of the CPD online website, working with a third-party provider. You will also manage the marketing of courses and events and support other ELP teams with key administration tasks and projects as agreed with your manager. You must be highly numerate, with strong written and spoken English. You will have a good grasp of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PPT, and be confident working at pace and capable of working independently in a fast-moving environment.
You may have a relevant degree level qualification and experience in administrative posts, ideally working within children’s service and education, and / or for an events company. You will have a real interest and enthusiasm for the work of the Ealing Learning Partnership in maximising the contribution of schools and the council to improve the lives of all children and young people.
This role is subject to Ealing Council’s enhanced vetting process.
The post is set hours 10:00 to 17:30 (with some flexibility as agreed with the manager and due to the needs of the service)
Location: Ealing Education Centre, Mansell Road, Greenford; occasionally Remote (up to 1 day pw to be agreed weekly with line manager)
