Job description

Contract type: Ad-hoc Supply and Long Term roles

Subject: Teachers for all subjects and phases required

The Ealing Schools Supply Staff Service is now in place to support both schools and supply staff across the borough.

We have a high demand currently across all school phases – Primary, Secondary and Special schools and are therefore actively recruiting supply teachers for both ad-hoc supply roles and longer-term teaching vacancies, many of which will lead to permanent positions.

Your Role:

  • Establish a safe and stimulating environment for pupils
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn
  • Have a secure knowledge of the relevant subject(s) and curriculum
  • Liaising with other staff members to understand children’s needs
  • Ensuring children’s behaviour is managed using the school’s behaviour policy.

 

What you will need:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Passionate about teaching and making a difference
  • Plan and deliver high quality lessons (longer term roles)
  • Be flexible, reliable and be motivated to teach to the best standards.
