The governors wish to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Special Education Needs and disabilities (SEND) Support Assistant, Grade 4 to join our busy Nursery School and Children’s Centre.

About the Centre

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced Nursery Assistant with SEND experience to join our popular and vibrant school and centre which offers high quality education and care to children aged from 6 months to 5 years. The Centre operates from 8am to 6pm (Monday – Friday) and throughout the year.

About you

Joining our friendly and professional team, we are looking for an early years practitioner who has a sound knowledge of child development, good communication skills and is motivated and enthusiastic. You will have an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent qualification), substantive experience of working with children in an early years setting, experience of working with children with additional needs and be trained or willing to be trained in the application of Makaton. You will be working in one of our SEND Classrooms, Holly.
