Job description

Children and Adults’ Services is seeking to recruit support brokers within our busy Ealing Direct Team. The successful candidate will have clear knowledge of Direct Payments. The post will provide comprehensive support planning and brokerage service to eligible social care customers opting to receive a Direct Payment for their social care and support needs.

Among other duties you will:

  • Work closely with individual customers, carers, and social workers, and other professionals
  • Assist customers in completing their support plans
  • Offer clear advice and guidance on the care and support options available
  • Provide direct support re: negotiating / organising services; and setting-up payments
  • Provide follow-up support.

Essential requirements / experience

  • Work within Children’s or Adult’s social care
  • Some experience of working within the social care or community sectors with vulnerable children or adults.
