Job description

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS CURRENTLY ONLY AVAILABLE TO EALING COUNCIL EMPLOYEES, EALING COUNCIL SCHOOL EMPLOYEES AND AGENCY WORKERS WORKING AT EALING COUNCIL. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST AND/OR APPLICATIONS FROM OUTSIDE THESE GROUPS WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED NOR PROGRESSED.

Ealing Council is on an ambitious journey of transformation, putting residents at the heart of what it does. As part of ensuring the best possible outcomes for the borough’s residents, the council has created a Strategy, Performance and Intelligence service at the centre of the council to provide a joined-up first-class service to other council departments and key external partners. If you are looking to join a team of experts, to develop and shape the new service and be part of a council that is developing innovative solutions, it is a fantastic time to join Ealing Council.

We are looking for an experienced Performance and Intelligence manager, to lead the Adults and Housing performance and intelligence team. You will be responsible for ensuring the team supports of the needs of key stakeholders, including collection and analysis of wide range of data and will make a major contribution to the council’s ability to use data to drive strategies and projects, identify priorities and evaluate outcomes and progress. This will include statutory government returns and the Adults and Housing Services performance and outcomes framework.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of effectively supervising, managing and coaching staff and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent IT skills including MS Excel, Business Objects, Power Bi, Mosaic or similar. In addition, you will have a strong eye for detail, good problem solving skills, and be able to interpret written and statistical information.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.

This role is subject to Ealing’s enhanced vetting process.

Location: Working from Home / Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 2HL.
