Job description

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with a passion for driving improvements
and to support the day-to-day admin functions of the service. This role is varied, busy and fast-paced – the ability to work professionally under pressure to meet deadlines and operate flexibly within the changing needs of the Music Hub, is essential. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as is enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to play an active role. If you are meticulous with an eye for detail, take pride in your work and have a “can do” attitude we would like to hear from you.

This role will be based at our offices at the Dominion Centre & Library with flexibility to work from home, as appropriate.

Main Purpose of Role:

To provide general admin support to the Music Hub and to ensure all HR and Financial procedures are coordinated effectively.

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of a range of admin functions
  • Good IT Skills including advanced/intermediate skills in Word, Excel, Access and or other database and the Internet.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a complex workload
  • Experience of working in an educational, charity or arts environment.
  • Demonstrable commitment and track record to the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
  • Experience of positive teamwork and supporting staff
