Job description

We are seeking two experienced and proactive HR Business Consultants to join our HR consultancy team.

The successful candidates will have a proven track record of providing comprehensive HR advice and support to managers in a complex, unionised environment.

Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner you will be providing business focussed solutions to a range of client groups including the Housing and Environment and Economy and Sustainability directorates or the Children’s, and Adults and Public Health directorates.  You’ll be involved in employee relations casework, change management projects and providing HR advice and coaching support to managers across the range of people management issues that take place during the employee lifecycle.

To be successful your experience should include:

  • Providing HR advice and support to managers on a range of employment issues such as performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and job evaluation
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders across the client groups to facilitate the provision of proactive advice and support.
  • Supporting and advising on managing change and workforce development
  • Supporting the organisation and client groups in their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion objectives
  • Contributing to HR policy development and implementation

Essential professional membership/qualifications:

  • CIPD membership/qualification or equivalent HR professional qualification
  • Evidence of continuous professional development

This role is subject to Ealing’s enhanced vetting process.
