Job description

We are looking for an experienced data analyst who will sit within the Schools Research and Data team within the new central service on a permanent, full-time contract. Your work will support schools, the Ealing Learning Partnership and the Schools Planning and Resources Directorate through strategic and operational analysis of school and pupil outcome and demographic data.


You will be responsible for the collection and analysis of wide range of data and will make a major contribution to the council’s ability to use data to drive strategies and projects, identify priorities and evaluate outcomes and progress.


You will need excellent IT skills including advanced MS Excel, experience of using PowerBI or similar products would also be an advantage. In addition, you will have excellent analytical skills, a strong eye for detail and be able to produce complex statistical analyses and communicate the findings in reports and presentations.


The work is varied, and as part of a diverse service, covering a range of specialisms, you will have exposure to and opportunities for development in new areas.


This role is subject to Ealing’s enhanced vetting process.
