Term-time only or 52 weeks a year – full or part time (21 hours up to 35 hours a week)

Ealing’s Integrated Youth Service is seeking to appoint two Connexions Personal Advisers.

The role will involve providing a careers information advice and guidance service to range of young people both in schools and young people in the community who are seeking education, employment and training.

Experience of supporting vulnerable young people and those with SEN is welcome but not essential.

Connexions supports young people aged 13-30 by providing high quality and impartial Careers Information, advice and guidance as well as brokering access to a range of more specialist services designed to raise achievement and aspirations as well as reducing the risk of drop out and anti-social behaviour.

You will:

  • Provide accessible non-judgemental, client centred and confidential information, advice, guidance and support in a variety of settings to individuals and groups of young people aged 13-30
  • Support the tracking, recording and monitoring of young people living and/or educated in the borough of Ealing.

Applicants should have or be undertaking a relevant professional qualification in Carers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) at level 6, or have a level 4 Careers qualification with a commitment to undertake a level 6 qualification in CEIAG once started in post is required).

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
