Secondment opportunity until December 2022 with the possibility of extending.

If you have answered yes to these questions, then this may the perfect role for you.

As Commercial Development Officer, you will play a key role in the delivery of service improvement projects, identifying and appraising commercial opportunities, liaising with our commercial partners, undertaking service reviews, and providing support to services to implement improvements to processes, ICT systems and policies. You need to be able to manage multiple projects that deliver Value for Money within constrained timescales.

You will:

  • Have experience of delivering outcome-focused projects from concept to completion
  • Work collaboratively with services to seek solutions to automate and streamline processes
  • Have experience in producing process maps and re-engineering processes
  • Be able to identify best practice, innovation, and commercial opportunities through research inside and outside the Housing sector
  • Have excellent written English that is vital when drafting briefing papers, responses to Government papers and developing proposals for management approval
  • Be able to communicate effectively at all levels and across services.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
