Adopt London West (ALW) is a Regional Adoption Agency providing services to the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow and is hosted by the London Borough of Ealing. The service recruits’ adopters and is responsible for family finding for children across our partner agencies. We also offer support services to adoptive and special guardianship families.
The practice model and principles of our host Local Authority, Ealing has been incorporated into our approach in ALW, the Brighter Futures practice model is informed by our values and brings together key ideas from relationship and trauma-informed research, theory and practice. We have a strong focus on relationships and purposeful partnership in our work. We aim to build empathic, respectful, and trusting relationships with each other and with prospective adopters to ensure they are prepared well for the challenges of Adoption and understand the need to parent therapeutically.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager to join the service, we are seeking someone with recent experience of managing the recruitment, assessment and preparation of Adopters, who is committed to innovative practice and assuring the best possible outcomes for children and adoptive families.
You will be passionate about what you do and committed to driving forward early permanence for children and meeting the required timescales for the approval of prospective adopters.
You will hold a social work qualification and be HCPC registered.
